Roger Tallon - Braunstein Chloé , Bure (de) Gilles
Roger Tallon is a key figure in French design and has worked in nearly all facets of the design industry : early in his career he focused primarily on domestic design ; he then turned to æsthetic and institutional concerns ; and later his practice became strictly industrial. His diverse accomplishments include his Téléavia portable television set, Lip watches, designs for the first high-speed train, Mexico’s subway system, and the introduction of design teaching into specialist schools in France. This book includes a critical essay on Tallon’s impact on international design, an interview as well as many reproductions of his work.
