Jean-Christophe Averty - Duguet Anne-Marie
Jean-Christophe Averty’s television work is usually reduced to a few essential aspects : caustic humour, a love of jazz and an electronic presentation which owes a lot to special effects. It is this perpetual inventiveness—together with his perception of the specific and absolute “impurity” of electronic creation which constitutes the originality of Averty’s style, a style which shows rare “technical intelligence”, not in the sense of a technician or through direct mastership of the tools, but by his way of provoking through imagination.
